Midwest Composers Symposium
I always enjoy working with composers of our time. It was my great pleasure to play with the IU New Music Ensemble in the annual Midwest Composers Symposium this year hosted by IU and perform works from University of Michigan composer Michael Schachter's Five-Six-Seven-Eight and IU composer Corey Rubin's chamber music piece Tight Rope.
Had a wonderful time in Spain this summer, working with amazingly dedicated faculty members,
sharing musical thoughts and technical approach from fellow musicians! Enjoyed the open-air marathon concert with a huge crowd of spectacle never seen before—to be able to share music with so many people in front of Begoña was an unforgettable experience!
I am very honored to be awarded second-prize in the competition and perform in the iconic Busan Cultural Center! Hope to come back soon.
